I love the visual style! I noticed that when I cross into the area with the golden floor I immediately die, I wasn't sure if that was a bug or if that s the end of that level. great work !!!
thank you!! yes, this build is a bit old at the moment so sorry for the confusion. since the demo is only two stages, it limits your progress abruptly ๐ I will try to fix this with a new build soon. thanks for the feedback ๐
i think the tutorial needs to be expanded as i was very confused as to why i would just die randomly when theres no enemies, also it seems like if you pressed right click to hit an enemy with the knife but the enemy attacks you during the attack animation, youre just stuck and will be forced to die which makes it a little annoying to kill enemies with it, and when i opened the game then went onto steam to quickly do smth, it froze my mouse in the middle of the screen and i was stuck and i had to find out how to get to task manager with only my keyboard to close the game, so a main menu of sorts would be very good. other than that, i see lots of potential in this game, it has an enjoyable art style, and it could be one of my favourite games if it fixed my issues
I'm going to be adding some indicators that help with conveyance on reason for death. It's extremely confusing at the moment so sorry for the frustrating experience.
The knife hand being stuck if you swing too early is by design though, so that's a penalty for not timing the swing properly. I know this can be annoying because it's very much unlike how other FPS games include melee.
That mouse being frozen is the truly annoying part, let me see if I can fix that up. It's a real pain while I alt-tab during development too!

Oh cool! I'd love to try that too! The aiming and hitboxes are very forgiving because I wanted to make exactly that, FPS without aiming! Thanks for trying it out ๐
I've run into the issue during playtests too. I'll be updating the build soon, really sorry for the inconvenience!
I've also changed the timings around a bit so it might feel different in the next update. Although the parry is still timed so that if you're too early it won't connect
Figured out the root cause of this stutter. More obvious on higher framerates. It's coming to be about that time where I'll be needing a more powerful machine to test this game. Thanks again for highlighting this problem.
hitting the left mouse button on the RUN GUN splash screen should send you into the levels after you've completed the tutorial. are you being sent back to the tutorial?

At the moment there is just the green guys, but they'll have new tricks up their sleeves later in the game
game freezes every second for me, ebem though i have powerful pc.
also would be cool if shots could be deflected if parry is pressed to early

I can't change the binds correctly for me to not open the menu while strafing (pressing q to go left doesn't work), looks nice th

A bit hard to beat the gunshot enemy with a RMB QTE. Anyway, it's a very intersting game in gameplay.
